Not in 2022 but I played and finished it for the first time last summer and it instantly shot up to my favorite arcane game surpassing dishonored. Hoping we get a sequel in the next few years
Man, I was so impressed with Prey. It doesn’t 100% succeed at what it sets out to do (which is fair, it’s also pretty ambitious), but I really enjoyed my time with it.
It’s definitely not the same thing, but Prey’s director (or co-director?) Raphaël Colantonio left Arkane and is working on Weird West, which is scheduled to release next month:
Nice! I’m still holding out for the price dropping on those things. I just shuffle games around to the external hdd when I am not playing them.
Favourite game of the last six months has been Guardians of the Galaxy. Was a blast! A lot of reviews seemed to miss the point of the combat for me. Was great to play a real story game again. Ngl it made me laugh and hitting combos so you get to fight to 80s music is all the fun
Just got the KEF LS50 Meta speakers with S2 stands about a month ago. I was using JBL Studio 570 speakers before, but my wife HATED their looks. Sad for me, because I really enjoyed their sound. In the end, the LS50 is a much better speaker, and I am really enjoying them. Their low end, while respectable for a little stand mount, cant compare to the JBLs. I do rely on my sub to reinforce the bottom end. Next step, replace the sub with something more accepted by my wife (she despises large black boxes-a.k.a. most audio gear).
I’m sure she’d love the Kef KC62 and will tell you to buy one immediately! In white of course.
That is probably the plan. Gotta save a few sheckles first!
Lol i guess I can see why she would dislike the JBLs, iv’e only seen em in pictures but they do look pretty dang massive and black (phrasing) the Kef’s seem much smaller and prettier so hopefully she dosen’t consider them an eyesore haha
She does like them much better, but she says they remind her of HAL on 2001 A Space Odyssey.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Ahh, you have such a beautiful listening space and the white doesn’t match it at all. It’s a bit of a stylistic break from the ambience.
If so, then cherry brown, tends to be a light wood, which would suit the listening area better.
Because the carpet is light, the chair, the floor, the back wall and the shelves.
You shouldn’t always listen to women. Sometimes men just know better.
Perhaps, but sometimes harmony is more important in the relationship than in the interior decoration. I wanted the LS50s, and I liked the white better than the blue, gray or black.
And Bell buying them didn’t hurt either.
In my journey or absitainence from audio related purchases for the year. Had some funds to buy myself another nice pair of shoes
Those do look real nice dude! I’m not a big shoe person (in fact im basically always barefoot or with crock when outside) but im loving the look of those!
I had a pair the first time they came out…back when MJ was #23 and didn’t cry as often.
So I decided to buy a pair of Dekoni Hybrid Hifiman Pads for the HE500 and they arrived today. Figured I’d give them a try. Worst case scenario, I have a comfortable backup set of pads.
I’m the same, unless I can’t be - I’m bare foot. I can’t see how other people don’t do it like that.
Danacable lazuli Nirvana for Susvara + adapters to use it with utopia and 1266tc
I’ve been wanting this for a while, one of the last few purchases that’s been on my list, so really excited.
Shout out to you my bro lol, yeah its just more comfortable and personally more natural not having shoes. Only discovered crocks last year, and u? Bet your family would probably critize you, i know they did and honestly still do me. When i come out of the house to do something barefoot they sometimes legit get mad but it’s kind of a lifestyle thing for me. Love to be connected to nature and the word #hippie
Mostly sandals such as Birkenstock. To me doing short activities outside there is no need for footwear. I wouldn’t be outside too long and it’s more comfortable. People would just wonder what’s wrong instead of getting mad
I wouldn’t walk on public streets barefoot though, the fear of broken glass would put me off
