Finally got around to replacing my HD 6xx earpads and what a difference it makes… lol Also the clamp is real forgot how much these hurt without smushed pads
I recently purchased an old NOS USAF 596 tube and an adaptor. It took a bit of effort to make the adaptor fit correctly, i would love to find a better built better quality adaptor, but i finally got it to work. Looking forward to making some time to try it on my Decware 341.5 and the new Taboo MK4 when it finally arrives sometime around Christmas…
Damn, $150 just for the adaptor…that’s a hard pill to swallow. My adjustments were not perfect on my own adaptor but i did a good job and it works…that’s one deal i may have to pass on. Maybe…
Recently picked up a Cayin C9, as well as HD600 and R70X…all of which are sitting at home while I’m on vacation. At least I have the P6P, Infinity, and PortaPro to keep me company.
Bought a Pass HPA-1 earlier in the month and have had it since the 16th. Not quite yet ready to make a thread yet, but so far it’s all been positive, and especially so when it comes to the mysphere, it really makes those sing.
My two recent purchases are an HD600 and this Ampsandsound amplifier which I’m told is a prototype that lands somewhere in between the Leeloo and the Pendant.
To my knowledge it’s closely related to the Leeloo. The layout and headphone inputs and materials used are different however. I intend to message Zac at ZMF and Justin at Ampsandsound to find out more about it.
Sooo cool, I have a prototype too, a pre-ZMF Pendant. Really enjoy it and knowing that it was used extensively for testing and also has slightly different components in it makes it special for me. It helps allot that it sounds damn good. Congratulations Don!
