What have you purchased recently?

Thanks Nick! I wonder how similar our two amps are. This one looks like a Pendant but has the tube compliment of a Leeloo. It sounds very good with my 600 and I plan to try it out with my Heresy’s as well. I’m looking forward to getting more info on it.

Maybe we need a quasi-Pendant thread lol (probably not though)

I magnified your picture and stared at it for a while trying to figure out what that amp was😍

Recently received the Astel & Kern Sr25 from Kron and also the sr25 case that I bought from Amazon! Have the Andros on loan to my boi nick so still don’t have anything to test this bad boi with but should get something soon! (also the case is like 70 on Amazon. Kinda didn’t live up to the price lol. Just feels not as strong as expected but it is what it is)

As you would expect fro the korean shill I chose this Dap because it’s korean and have its language setup to korean :sunglasses:

Good to see it’s treating you well, if you want a case to hold the dap and IEMs, I used it with a Miter case which I think is also Korean :smirk:

Bought a copper Kimber Axios cable for my Myspheres. I had intended to do this when I felt my desktop setup was actually good enough to do the myspheres justice, because tbh I bought them on a whim because they were on deep discount over at woo audio. But with the addition of the Pass amp, I feel like the threshold of enjoyment has been reached and they are just amazing now. In comparison to the stock cable (which was an incredibly long, thin, spindly cable I hated), overall coherency and timbre is improved, but most importantly I feel bass performance is boosted enough that I can have the soundframes tilted all the way out without feeling like I’m really losing anything for doing so, which is more than likely the experience you want when using this headphone.

Also, it needs to be mentioned, this is the first time I’ve gotten anything from Kimber, but the package presentation is nuts. Out of the shipping box you have a paper wrapping that’s sort of webbed texture with holes in it, then paper wrapping with the kimber logo all over it, then brown paper wrapping with a sticker with your name on it. Now you’re at the actual box. There’s plastic wrap you have to remove, and then a slip cover over the box that has some specs on what cable you got. The box itself has a leather feel and is like a large snapping open/shut glasses case. Opening that up you’ve got the cable itself velcro’d in there and up top a carrying pouch for the cable, an envelope with an actual WAX SEAL in there (which, I haven’t opened, no idea what’s inside), and a catalogue for their other axios cables. It seriously felt like opening a russian nesting doll, it’s ridiculous.

I just purchased a Soekris 2541 from Modhouse. Just bought a V281 as well. Still shopping around for good prices on a few different headphones.

Spring 3 KTE

My latest acquisition is the Holo Audio Spring 3 - KTE
It has less than 200 hours run in time so I don’t have a lot to say other than it sounds pretty amazing to me so far.

I like how it’s sitting next to an SMSL lol

ha, I am actually sending signal from the Spring to the SA300 too. Honestly, does an OK job for my desktop speakers. I’ll address it at some point.

This arrived while I was on vacation.

The amp I bought for it, sadly, is still in Vancouver

Furutech rhodium XLR and banana connectors with Moon Audio’s “Black” level of their dragon cables (copper).

Point of issue with this config- the Left and Right tags are made of that thin adhesive backed hobbyist label maker material. They feel like they’ll fall off without much encouragement. I’ll have to do something more permanent like colored zip ties or something. For what Moon-Audio charges, I had hoped for better, lol.

That said, other than this little foible, I think they make good cables. This is my 3rd adapter cable from them.

Damn, thats some serious build quality there!

You dont realise how much the pads wear down over time until theyre replaced. And how much it absorbs the oils off your skin / hair until you see a new pair.

I guess I am lucky my big block head never felt the senn clamp. I just get some pad squeek as it molds around my glasses for the first week or so.

This one is an older purchase for me, but my latest one. This is a repost from the other forum, but will be much more relevant here. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback about it.

@Andy77, i’m a bit slow today…what is that cable for? I don’t get it

Looks like it is female 4pin xlr to bananas, guessing it’s to connect his susvara to a speaker amp but he’s using another aftermarket cable thats terminated in 4pin xlr male

I know the feeling!

It’s to connect a speaker amp to a XLR headphone cable.

So, in my case. It’ll connect a Pass Labs integrated speaker amp to a Susvara and transport me bodily to audio Nirvana.

[EDIT: Towa beat me to it, but I added the Nirvana part.]

Did you already get one or plan to? :eyes:

Paid for but still in Vancouver, pending FedEx picking it up on Tuesday. For that matter, my Susvara is still en route from HFM’s New York warehouse. I’m in hifi limbo aTM.
