I wanted to try a Van Den Hul RCA and a local Van den Hul The Rock Hybrid 3T was for sale, asking 135 EUR. These are still sold and cheapest I found them was 455 EUR so pretty good deal for me. So I sent him a ‘is this still for sale’ message. He replied like yes, 2 interlinks 135 each. I was probably not very awake yet, thinking yeah, RCA is always 2 interlinks smart ass, nice way to bump up your price to 270. So I replied I’ll give 200 for the set, he accepted and deal was done. Now the good part, when I went to pick them up he had 2 boxes of RCA pairs ready for me so I kinda got 2 for the price of 1. Apparently some miscommunication, me thinking he was being odd with referring to each RCA cable separately but it was me who took the wrong turn. Pretty good deal imo

Hello,
last week my Vcap Odam’s arrived for the Feliks Euforia amplifier.
And 3 days later it went to the workshop who builds tube amps himself.
And today I picked it up, of course it cost a bit because the rebuild was a bit more difficult than the first one.
The capacitors from the cheap Mundorf series were removed and all replaced with Vcaps.
The TFTFs have already been installed on the 6SN7 socket by me in October and have been adjusted accordingly.
Now the Odam’s have been installed on the 6AS7G socket and for the preamp output.
The first hour is now over and something has happened again.
Now they still have to be installed
The first impression is quite positive, even finer in the details, more refined.
The sound is very light-footed and a bit more of a unified whole.
Of course I’m a bit excited at the moment and had a slightly stressful day.
Here is a picture of what it looks like now, which is also nice to see.
Bought a nice ol’ grado today with its original amp, can’t wait for it to arrive

That is one combo i am very interested in hearing your opinion on please. I fancy my Grado’s very much and missed an opportunity to purchase one of those amps used a long while ago. I don’t have that HP either but have been tempted to purchase one a few times, just never pulled the trigger because of bad timing. Congratulations, cool combo 
oh there will be, Its my first proper vintage amp I wonder how it will be different from the others, more focus on tonality I guess and less on details
Kind of neat tracking the progress of my Allo DAC as it heads my way.

Passing this forward is anyone is interested. This guy is a friend of mine, he’s a master… his work on the female form is just native, intuitive and primal and he’s got an ability to draw the figure in perspective extremes is simply sublime. I’ve got a few pieces of his over the years.
A good art book to own if you want to decorate your coffee table with something beautiful.

SHHHH! You know people around here are going to start wanting them and I’m like the internet’s shittiest vendor. It took me over a month to get it to you and I’ll go broke giving cables away to people when they buy a nice DAC from me. Cause I’m all out of nice DACs to sell.
