Word bro, honestly I miss DSLRs alot, mostly the whole looking through optical viewfinder instead of looking at another screen (EVF). But mirorless definitely bring in their own awesome things like generally smaller footprint, completely silent shooting and even though to an extent even though it’s a negative I really like how you see the proper exposure on EVF before shooting
Edit : fuji has a pancake lens but not a fan of the focal length so decided the small 23mm focal length would be better than the pancake lens with odd focal length for me
And yesterday I ordered 4 Vcap Odam capacitors from Vh Audio, which are on their way to me on Vh Audio’s recommendation.
After the Vcaps TFTF have done so well and have been exchanged for the Mundorf Mcap in the Feliks Euforia, the next base will follow where the Mundorf and Audyn will fly out.
I’m curious to see how the combination will do at Euforia.
Got this set up all the way right before a handful of friends came over to get drunk. It looks glorious and seeing the volume dial turn remotely is so fun to me. I can’t give any real impressions as I was serving as a host all night but I was staring all night lol.
I ordered these in December but Beyerdynamic in Europe then had some kind of massive issue with their package contractor so they only just arrived now…
DT880 600 ohm. I tried them stock, with a pad swap and then with the little foam baffles made for the Amiron home and liked them most in this configuration. Takes just enough of the sibilance off them without changing the rest of the sound for me.
I like them a lot. Like very much. Really nice deeeeeeeeep bass and wonderful detail. They surpassed my expectations.
I deliberately bought a 100k ohm pot for the Whammy and it seems to be holding up enough, needing about two thirds of the range to get a good sound and volume.
My memory might be failing me, but I thought it has a headphone jack on the back right below the speaker taps ,just a 1/4 inch? Never got to try it when I demoed that amp though so no idea how it sounds. Could only be on the older one, don’t remember. There was also a switch for the headphones on the back that I’d assume was like either gain or impedance?
