What have you purchased recently?

Born in the Carolina, I got myself the Moon Audio Black Dragon Premium cable for the DCA Stealth. The stock cable I have output is 4.4mm. The Black Dragon is XLR output so I don’t have to use the converter anymore.

At this point, I feel like my brain is burned in to the Stealth. I’m liking everything the Stealth is doing (yes even the dynamics…), so I’m really bias right now. I will say the Black Dragon cables make a little difference. Nothing too huge, just a little more on the low end and a little more rumble. Like a tickling little more.

This new cable is for my movie watching chain:

Nvidia Shield → optical USB → Intona Isolator (powered by Sbooster) → Intona Reference USB cable → ultraDigital → Boomslang BNC → Yggy

Its amazing how good movies sound on this chain.

Lumin U2, great deal from a dealer on USAM. After 4 days, I can say it’s a long term keeper with the added benefit of simplifying my chain.

Had an opportunity to pick one of these Network Acoustics ENO Ethernet filters. A guy on USAM had it up and literally was lowering the price of it every three days for a couple of weeks until I could no longer resist.

Curiosity got the better of me.

Berkeley Alpha USB (highly customized) Remarkable Results

After some comparisons, I decided I no longer needed the Alpha USB. I am putting it back out into the wild so it will hopefully make someone very happy for a few years like it did me.

What leaving my tws IEMs at home accidentally does to me when I’m doing to work and at the gym. I buy back ups on back ups to hide in my car, work bag, and gym bag

Quick little review. The moondrop space travel. Hard to review these. I cant for the life of me get a good fit on these. So hard to judge bass . But with mids and treble it’s sounds really standard harman neutral nothing special here good back up for work not gonna use these much hopefully. Transparency mode on these and ANC is surprisingly decent for the price it’s not great but it’s decent and way better than I thought it would be for the price

Galaxy buds fe.
These are going to be my dedicated tws IEMs for the gym. Really properly neutral tuning out of the box. Detail retrieval and performance not as good as my galaxy buds 2 pro but for the price? Among the best I’ve heard in the tws caregory. The fit and seal is pretty great as well. Non sound stuff like ANC is great

This sold but more importantly, I’m happy to report that the level of geekness is alive and well on USAM. I had nearly 300 views in one day, four people reach out and try to buy it and three others asking “questions” lol.
