Agreed. I’m more familiar with Mon’s impressions (and preferences) than any of the others I’ve seen regarding the Final’s. Should be interesting to hear.
@M0N when you do get enough time, would be great to hear your thoughts on different cable pairings with the Final. Does your Prion4 fit them?
Unfortunately not, I can make them fit with an extension cable but that causes a reasonable fidelity hit so it’s not fair to judge that way. In terms of what I have right now that could be tested, I could test a lavricables grand, brise mikumari, and actually my danacable nirvana with adapters without real loss. I guess I could also use my 2pin to 3.5mm and try some of the iem cables I have too but don’t know how helpful that would be
The black coating on both the Ken-Rad and Elrog is really pleasing how they visually match lol

Both options I looked at.
Too bad about the Prion4, I think it’s a good match that just takes the provided silver cable up a notch or two in performance. I got mine with specific longer connections so it fits both the Sus and D8KPLE.

Yes and thank goodness it sounds good 
Win win and my OCD can rest. Gonna get some socket savers for the driver tubes. The sockets sit recessed and it’s hard to get them out (if needed, but not impossible, just don’t like grabbing on the glass). Plus it’ll allow them to sit a little higher. The savers will be matte black to match.
Really need to look for a pair of backups now. Initial impressions are really good.

Im happy that those tubes worked out for you. I have a long history with rolling 6SN7 tubes and to this day, those Ken-Rad VT-231 Black Glass are the very best ones that I’ve ever heard.

Also please ignore the headphone cable riser (actually a Furutech power cable connector packing material). it was on my desk and I put it there as a joke for friends that think I’m crazy for tweaking cables, etc.
