My Lotoo PAW Gold Touch came in today, enjoying it a lot tonight. It actually does the things I expect out of a DAP in 2022
What better way to enjoy it than zipangu
Grats!!
bro! you know whats up, good taste
A few different 12SN7GT’s to try on the LTA MZ3 to satisfy my curiosity on the slight increase in soundstage. I’m curious if the one pair widening the soundstage was a fluke or not.
It would be cool if I can reproduce the effect w/ a random pair of supposedly NOS tubes.
Edit to add: I did not research these at all, I simply focused on finding pairs that were NOS, matched and mated as close as possible. I dislike ever using matched tubes that are not actually mated. My OCD just can’t take it🤪
For the lampi?!..
That was funny, we should not do that to the poor guy, it’s gotta be killing him…just ripping up his heart and soul
still though
He knows I mean well
Tales of Arise is on sale this weekend on steam, the lowest it’s been discounted so far. I passed on playing this last year when it dropped in favor of a different game and I have regretted it since, even though I have played the majority of the Tales franchise. Looking forward to playing one of the most well received and critically acclaimed Tales games in a very long time
Sweet. Love Neon Bible.
Both reported, thank you good bye.
I had been waiting on this tube, USAF 596 NOS rectifier. harder to find out in the wild every month that slips us by, I paid a premium for this and the pin converter (Woo audio) but i have learned from experience this is a very worthwhile tube for several of my pieces. This is not my first 596 rectifier, I have used one for almost 2 years now and it is a good enough performer in my gear a second unit was worth the cost.
I would second the USAF 596, really an enjoyable rectifier that pairs well with a lot of the tubes I’ve used
I’d like to get my hands on a WE 422A and compare but a little out of my reach at the moment
Just purchased an LTA Z10e
Sweet. Will be looking forward to your impressions on the LTA thread.
quick learnings:
- it’s truly built like a high end device, so impressed by the build quality and design. More impressive than the Wavedream and WA33.
- bigger than I thought it’d be, but also lighter.
- can’t run it along the WA33 with the Powerplant 3
- Using an Apple TV remote is a very weird choice
- Headphone out can’t drive the Sus, complex passages don’t hold well and bass is all over the place.
Curious to hear about the sus through the speaker out
