What have you purchased recently?

Oh wow. I have Comcast, and I’ve never had to deal with them beyond basic service but I’ve never been particularly wowed either.

My hifiman aluminum grills just arrived. I will align them better with my OCD later. But for now, I’m trying to see if/what has changed with the sound.

My A4 was the same color interior. I loved that little wagon.

Ahhh wagon also here, such an underrated body style. Can fit nearly as much stuff in a wagon as an SUV

Nice, yeah I loved the look of those pre 2006 cars. Mine was the same color, just all painted. You’ve done some work to that one though. Upgraded exhaust, 18" rubber and it’s lowered a good 1" from stock.

I wanted to hit 200k with it but it fell short, I got it to 189k. I donated it to the automotive dept of a local technical college so it went gracefully.

Automatic? That’s usually the weak point of these cars. Luckily mine is a 6 speed. And yes, quite a bit of work done to this one.

Cracked block with coolant leaking into the oil. I need more space than my current car give me but then again used car pricing is sky high ATM. If I come across a good late model GTI I may jump on it but no rush. Moving into a city will bring my overall annual miles down a lot.

It’s just that a 4 door sedan is not the most useful thing when you need to haul stuff around. The Avant was the perfect size/utility/driving fun mix.

Sounds like what you need is an espada. Massive hatchback that 100% won’t be any kind of issue to try and parallel park. I promise…

Cable upgrades, also sold off some dacs and unneeded stuff, but for the main desk upgraded aes/ebu to transparent cable reference xl aes, traded in my audience studio one xlr and rca for au24 sx. Also modified a preamp to bypass volume so it’s just a switch for that setup. On my bedroom setup upgraded my synergistic foundation to atmosphere x alive for interconnects, speaker, and power.

Silvian of Beautiful Audio does GREAT work. These were custom made to the exact dimensions of my Grado HP. What folks do not realize is that the stock foam pads stretch to fit various dimensional oddities, these are made for my particular set. He was kind enough to even provide replacement foam for my first set which has seen a few good hours.

I also recommend Beautiful Audio. He was very nice to buy from and included some extra inserts to customise the pads. Also plenty of communication to ensure that the pads and headbands were the correct size for the Grado model.

They really improve the comfort of Grado headphones.

Bf2 to play with just arrived. Interconnects won’t be here until tomorrow but I’ve already got it warming up at least.

I actually just ordered a headband for my Abyss Diana V2 from Beautiful Audio. Silvian shipped it 3 days later and I should receive it September 7th according to DHL Worldwide tracking.

I also have used Beautiful Audio in the past for my Grado Style Custom Nhoord Red V2, as well as the SR80e I used to own. Comfort is amazing, but the sonic improvements with the pads were the icing on the cake.
