Lol, guess ‘almost’ may have been a bit too lackluster of a descriptor given how big the push you needed was.

Looking forward to your impressions.

I tend to err on the side of understatement.

Setting up internet at my place too, splurged for 25 gbps (upgrading from 10 gbps). Will need to upgrade my CAT 7 networking for fiber around the house to benefit from this throughput.

Wow, they only just made 50 and 75 Mb down speeds available where I live a few months ago. Before that it was 25, but only in some areas, where otherwise options are limited to satellite or 4G. Up is still only like 3 Mb. Even in very select areas where fiber has been run, only 100Mb is available.

And yes, I live in the middle of nowhere…town of abut 500

I know your pain very well, where my parents live, they get only ADSL.

The pain and suffering for me is very real, If I lived somewhere that my employer has a fiber footprint, I’d get synchronous gigabit fiber $10 dollars a month. I don’t live in the footprint, hence having to throw $90 dollars a month to what is the worst company to do business with and I’m not exaggerating.

Comcast ranks 289th out of 294 companies
