I thought you ordered the translucent black? Did that change?

That’s right, Trevor told me he was out of the clear and only had the translucent black when I ordered so I assumed that is what I was going to get. I was surprised when it showed up in clear. I personally prefer the clear so I considered it a bonus.

The one pictured is my DAP for taking outside the house, my Shanling M3X. It’s a pretty nice little device for the price, I need to properly spend more time with it to properly assess it since I’ve been mainly using the p6p lately.

Out with the old, in with the “new”.
I just dropped off my FiR VxV at FedEx to go to a new home. (End of an era…)
And the tracking number for my “new” M5’s says they’ll arrive on Saturday! Bought them for a decent price off a guy on “the other forum”. (Not sure what to think of the goofy lighting…)
The resale on FiR IEMs is really surprising. Only got $550 for the VxV 
. But picked up the M5’s for $1,300! 
. Maybe the new lineup from FiR is dragging down resale on the older gen? If so, the VxV and M5 may be among the best deals in used IEMs right now!
For the M5’s, I’m shipping them to FiR to be cleaned and re-terminated with their RCX connector. (They charge $125 for this, which seems very reasonable.) And also ordering a new cable from them to match the RCX termination and with 4.4mm Pentaconn on the amp end. It’ll all take a couple weeks, but should be pretty sweet in the end!

Yeah that’s cheap, the m5 has definitely gone down in value since the frontier series launched, they used to go for 1.6-1.8k. For the price you got them you might as well get fir to reshell them to custom while you’re at it
