Looking forward to hearing your impressions in the other thread
Bought a few records and just rocking it tonight
Currently have two OG style hd600s on their way to me, 1 of unknown age, the other a first production 1997 black paper model. And as of last night, I also have a Woo Audio Wa8 Eclipse on its way to me as well. Man, next week is gonna be a fun one.
NICE, I know at least one person here that will be very jelly. @NickMimi
We need to see what they look like unboxed though…
Ohhh…nice they made it and sooo fast! Congratulations I so really hope you enjoy them. Don’t mess up the boxes in case you hate them though!
Should i lend you the extra cma800r now or would that be too much fun for you? No no, ill wait. Got to spread out the fun.
Nice toys guy´s have fun with it ,
Looks beautiful super looking forward to impressions!!
did you buy the one on head-fi from a few days ago? If so, you literally saved me from making a spontaneous buy lol I was minutes away from biting and then they were marked sold
I was more surprised just because I thought you had already listed some HD600s for sale not /that/ long ago, but it’ll be interesting to see if the vintage is what makes the difference for you!
Wow, very nice! Looks beautiful.
Be careful lifting too, I’m sure those are heavy so don’t injure yourself.
They could always be donated to someone here if you hate them
Yup that was me lol
Very nice.
Excited to hear how you like it! (Also, it’s funny how much it disappears in that photo.)
I decided to buy a few Herbie’s Audio Lab Tube Dampers for the BHC (if I like them, I planned on buying some for the QS). They arrived a few hours ago.
So, I don’t know what kind of fucking sorcery is going on with these magical little bastards, but they certainly seem to be doing something. At a bare minimum, they seem to help reduce or eliminate some small interference or static issues.
The true test was with my Ken-Rad 6AS7g and 12AU7…both are extremely microphonic (even though they both tested as brand new old stock). Well…these magical cockring looking dampers have eliminated most of the microphonics (if you tap the tubes at a very hard level, they still make some noise). I fully recommend these for sure, even though they look goofy af.
