Going to 65” seems really big at first, but at least for me, I think it’s really the sweet spot in terms of living room screen size. (Or I dunno, maybe you have a giant living room that I’ve never had.)
I’m currently using a 2016 model Samsung TV and if I were to upgrade it today, the LG C1 would be the literal top of my list, so yeah, I hope you love it!

I would be really interested in your thoughts and wonder on how the different versions differ, V2 to V3.
From what I gathered there all probably on that more “gun” tilt.
Thoughts is why I bought it. I’ve no experience with any of the other Mojo offerings but I did have a wonderful time picking up an older Lampi for a song which turned out to be pretty solid and I did have a direct comparison to.
It looks well built, the V2 SE is a 2018 model which isn’t ancient and my want here was to see how it would compare to that $600 to $800 dollar DAC price point owned by the BF2 & Ares II.
The way I see it, it’s going out on a limb (albeit a pretty stout one) as far as risk is concerned, but more as a bit of a challenge and a way to get some additional listening exploration experience.

Nice purchase! Assuming it’s the one I saw in USAudiomart that’s now marked sold, the output stage was upgraded to the same one as the v3, so it may be very close, if not identical-sounding to the v3, which makes it a bargain.
I wish I knew how all the Mojo DACs have evolved, especially because it looks like they jumped in price with the EVO models onwards. From what I’ve read, each DAC has been based on a vintage R-2R dac chip, and Benjamin’s focus has been on improving the power supplies, so I’m guessing they have a house sound, which Benjamin has been refining over time.
I love my Mystique X. Vocals are amazing on it. And I don’t detect any softness at all, which is something I’d heard was a trait of R-2R DACs, as it will play punk to metal without batting an eyelid. This is my first R-2R and that reputation for softness was something that held me back until now.

Twas! The topless V3 pics I’ve seen are similar in the analogue output and I’m assuming the SPDIF input would be very similar as well. The V3 however takes it over the top with power section with a ton of Mundorf chokes and three separate transformers that look to be better quality as well.
It always comes down to the power supply.
