Here’s my setup:

Looking at upgrading my dac and considering some options that I started a new thread for. Right now Lampizator is at the top of my list.

I will certainly add some input for you soon as well. We also have a lampizator owners thread that contains a little bit of feedback. I have owned two of them and let me know if you have any questions

Thanks yeah I just started looking through the Lampizator thread and seems like a good starting point to get more familiar with the dacs they offer

Two actually,

Thanks for sharing this. Both seem to be a good price / discount compared to msrp. I haven’t seen the music room before but I like that it takes some of the risk out of buying used. However I’m still saving for the dac so will have to hold off on purchasing for now.

I just bought a DDC from The Music Room. Smooth transaction, and even got a thank you phone call from them the day it shipped.

Interesting, these guys have the same price on their web site as they do on eBay. You can probably negotiate some buying directly as eBay fees for something of that dollar amount are probably several hundred bucks.

I have a main desk setup along with some portable gear and my work from home setup.

This is my personal desk:

It’s a motorised desk with a custom built PC.

On it the PC connects via both USB and a SPDIF splitter to a Topping D70 and Denafrips Ares II. The DACs are then sent to an RCA and XLR splitter before going to a Stax SRM-353X, Schitt Valhalla 2, Schitt Jotunheim, THX AAA 789 and a Tor Roger.

There is also a Rega P1 connected to an iFi Phono pre-amp before going to the Jotunheim.

Underneath the desk on hooks are a ZMF Atticus in Marblewood, Beyerdynamic DT 177X and a Stax SR-003 MK2.

Nearby are my main collection of headphones; Mr. Speakers Ether CX, Stax SR-L300 Limited Edition, Audeze LCD-X, Focal Elegia, ZMF Auteur in Wenge, Beyerdynamic DT 1990, Meze 99 Noir, Fostex TR-X00 Purpleheart, Sennheiser 6XX, Grado SR80e, Grado SR325e, Grado RS2e.

For portable usage I have; Moondrop Blessing 2 X Dusk, Mangrid Tea, Tin P1, old Sennheiser IEM, old Bose IEM, Dunu DN2000J, Shouer Tape, Audio Lokahi, Final Audio B3, Moondrop KXXS, Thieaudio Legacy 3, Meze Rai Solo, Shouer Tape Pro.
Grado GW100, iFi Hip DAC, Fiio E12 Mont Blanc, Pono Player, Fiio BTR5, Opus #2 and Drop Panda.

Finally my working from home setup is a Schiit Modi 2 Uber and an Akai turntable connected to a Lehmann Audio Rhinelander headphone ampilifer with a Fostex T50RP MK 2 and Hifiman 400i.

Nice collection! I especially like your headphone display cabinet very tidy and simple. The mess of wires underneath your sit/stand desk however is triggering me hardcore lol Consider mounting your surge protectors with double sided tape on the underside of the desk to tidy it up a bit and give some more foot room :joy:

Also welcome to the community, great first post!

The amount of things plugged into that one poor lonely outlet…:astonished::cry:. Otherwise, incredible amount of equipment piled into a small area. Very nice :+1:

Thanks.

The headphone stand is a simple book case that is self assemble.

I will get one of those hanging basket cable tidies that are mounted under the desk. It also is a bit unnerving when you fully expend the standup desk and the cables get stretched.

Yes, the symmetry in the HP rack is very pleasing. My left eyeball is twitching still due to those power strips :joy:

Props for the turntable on the desktop setup! Don’t see that as often.

It’s very handy having it beside you like that. There is less effort in changing sides.

Disregard the awful cable management below, but this is the “main” part of my desk. To the left are three monitors and I also have 2 bookshelf speakers at the very edge of either side of my desk. 12 in subwoofer below the emotiva amp.

Before anyone asks, yes, my desk is abnormally large

Also glad to be here!

If that is awful, I’m going to crop my desk photos from now on. I do much worse.

Hahaha, some of my cables have some zip-ties around them but I have added a lot of stuff in the past years and haven’t been bothered to update… maybe this weekend I will stop being lazy with it :stuck_out_tongue:
