That’s a nice variety of sound showcased in that rack.
I took a close-up photo with my phone and didn’t edit it at all just in case I was skewing the colors a bunch in my original photo:
Also, looking at the original photo made me realize I should try putting the Oreas directly on the chassis to give the tubes a little more breathing space above them.
Those Monoprice stands are one of the better values in audio IMO. I have 2, plus an amp stand. They may not look sexy, but they’re very functional, and I love how modular they are. I’ve split my two 4-shelf stands into four 2-shelf stands so that they comfortably fit under my desk.
That’s a gorgeous set-up. Lots of gear I’m curious about.
Also: I love your username. I keep thinking “gelato” (probably not intended), but it makes my day.
I first heard about them from you! I wouldn’t have known they existed if you didn’t suggest an amp stand for my CRT, lol.
And yeah, the modularity is great: I bought 3 stands that are split into two 5-shelf stands (and I’m still figuring out what I want to do with the 2-shelf stand that I have left over).
I see the same thing, but I just assumed it was from my sweet tooth
Great minds think alike
Audio Nirvana.
@Andy77 Or homecanjam. Are we jealous? Well, I am!
looking pretty tight! now you just need to get stands for all of those headphones
You have a lot of empty area to your left there… get to it!
And that isn’t a collection of mid Fi stuff bought on Drop.com like Zeos. Every single one of those headphones or components are endgame.
I get paranoid that stands will wear out/stretch the headband
I got rid of my metal stands because they were scratching my headphones when I took them off at the wrong angle.
Wooden stands FTW, IMHO.
Now the question is how many will stay now that he has a shang lol, that’s a hard thing to hold up to
It was the same Woo stand. I should have said it was scratching a ZMF. Metal headbands might not be an issue.
End game collection and then some…
Now that’s how one throws shade. Miaow.
