Bifrost 2 served me well for what I believe was just shy of 2 years, it was time for an upgrade.

I think I got pretty lucky and found one locally at a decent price, so far pretty satisfied with it. Sounds at least comparable to my Ares II (although those are some super-early impressions).
In the following months I’ll make sure to tinker with it but I really need to study and learn the basics first. I am at my first year of university for a bachelor in electrical engineering but know very little about electronics. Excited in how things will evolve.

I don’t need these. But I will someday and Focal isn’t making any more so…

Nice! Yeah, it’s really frustrating that Focal changed the pads on the MG. I did the same thing where I bought an extra pair of OG pads just to have as a backup.

I thought about it when it was on sale but I personally thought the utopia pads were better on the og clear so I stuck with that. Just hate how expensive they are.

Kinda messed up that they wont make any more for the many that love that headphone and plan on keeping it for a long time.

Bought this artist’s discography. They do not have an option to purchase the whole discography in one purchase, so I bought each track individually. Technically a name your price album, but I put in the minimum amount to get streaming and library usage on my bandcamp account too. It’s electronic sorts of stuff mostly, and I quite like the bass that is in many of the tracks. Here is their page for anyone interested:

After essentially 24 years of living honey free. I finally got deep into honey lol. Bought these two dudes to experiment and see which one I prefer

Pretty sure I have had the one on the left there. It’s pretty good.

The left is good. It’s what i used to use before finding an extremely local bee keeper.

I would check on the back where the local is as the bottles here are North East US sourced.

Well I can’t believe it but y’all remember that super rare white colored balanced lampi amber 3 that was on sale a few months back? Serial #2100 nicknamed “white whale?” Lol

Apparently the last payment didn’t follow through on TMR for some reason so they put up a new listing for a lower price and it was hidden all this time. I somehow was able to spot it and send an offer…got an email from them on a Sunday and now it is purchased. I’m frickin done for the year!

Congratulations man! Just on the rarity factor alone that DAC is a one of a kind! IMO, a bargain at that price and AES in to boot!
