Got this in last night. Some tweaking is needed, however. The stock lube that is applied to the stabilizers is too thick and/or too generously applied, so much so that the keys with stabilizers get stuck down sometimes. I’ll be honest, before the purchase I did a bunch of research and saw a lot of people going into depth about what lube and exactly how much to apply, and I really thought it was being blown out of proportion, but now I understand why this all matters. When I take it back apart to address the stabilizers, I’m also going to lube the switches. Maybe, get rid of these stabilizers all together and go for some better ones, as I’ve heard these stock ones aren’t the greatest.

Dirocks don’t fit the aluminum plate so if you intend to use them. Some sanding on t the stabilizer will be required but after modding it’s all worth it.

which keys are sticking? I has a issue with the space bar sticking to stock stabs… when mounting the keycap don’t press all the way down on both sides just make sure it is mounted on the switch in the middle, like a partial mount. That fixed it for me and it’s been fine since. I only had this issue with the space bar.

Hmmm I’ll give that a try first. It’s really every key that uses stabilizers.
This is a reminder that i reallllly neeed to clean my keyboard. I thought my keyboard came with a kap puller but I cant find it. I keep it all clean when using it, but there is no avoiding skin cells and rogue hairs, as gross as that is.

I’ll try it as an integrated as well. I’m curious what 1 watt will do to with my Heresy iv’s.
Really hoping it’s to my liking. Took a bit of a chance here upgrading many pieces at once.
