What have you purchased recently?

That’s utter BS on the part of VZ. I routinely rack up about 350 gigs a month, tell them 200 gigs is low by today’s standards IMO. All it takes is streaming a few shows in 4k and you’re at that level.

That makes me grateful for the fact Cox Cable gave me unlimited data.

Yes, i swear, i fight with them on this all the time. 2 middle aged techno retards w/ no kids are not super anything, we just like watching episodes of Narcos on Netflix…

Comcast is one of the biggest ball sucking corporations on the planet, but even they don’t start bothering people until they’re over 1.2 TB a month.

Looks like pretty basic stuff, I really don’t want to look up the prices… I’m certain the little kit is marked up like hell. But my BHC came assembled and well upgraded by previous owners. Adding the official cable seemed like a good addition for me. At least I did something…

Wow, my house is using almost 2TB per month!

I get unlimited from CenturyLink… But it’s CenturyLink 60 down / 5 up :pensive: So I regularly consider just spending the money for real internet service. But for what Cox (local alternate) charges for unlimited I would go broke.

When I was in the Marine Corps stationed at Quantico, VA, Comcast was the only option (this was back in 2000 - 2002). But back then data wasn’t an issue…though their customer service still sucked ass.

Shoot me. LOL

I complain about 40 up.

Yeah, 90% of the time it’s not an issue. I don’t upload much for work. But when I do, it’s death.

If any of you guys do sous vide and want something to braise your steak, this is an awesome little propane torch, blows super clean and can adjust the flow exactly to what you need. Highly recommended.

The new chair arrived a few days ago and is breaking in nicely, buttery soft and smooth leather, the wood finish looks beautiful and the comfort is much much better than I expected, fits me perfectly and does not bother my lower back at all. Overall extremely pleased with my Chineseum copy, hopefully the buttons don’t pop off😂
If you have the funds and the space I give this full :+1:

I bought a used Diana V2 that arrived today!

Now that I own a MYSPHERE, I also wanted a higher-end headphone that was more normal-looking and forgiving to complement it, but after listening to a handful of songs, the Diana actually has a pretty different quality to the sound! So yeah, it might be more of a “compliment” than I expected!

I’m thinking this’ll be my last new headphone purchase for a little while (I know, I know) and I’m looking more towards tweaks for my chain whenever I decide to spend money on audio again, but we’ll see how it goes.

Not everything that is worthwhile in audio has to cost an arm & leg, enter a very comfy and ergonomically well designed chair for enjoying and relaxing while listening to your favorite tunes, the Ikea Poang chair. I have actually owned the chair for several years but the ratty old faded yellow flower themed cushion from many years ago really needed to be replaced. The new brown leather looks very good IMO and feels lovely. I feel like i got a new chair :hugs:… What is brand new is the ottoman which had been out of stock at my local Ikea for many months.
(Despite its delicate looks i guarantee it can handle at least a 225 lb individual )

My Ikea never has anything I want in stock and the site refuses to ship to me for some reason… not like I live out in the sticks or anything.

I reaaally wasn’t planning on tube-rolling the Allnic, but this led to that and I ended up buying a sylvania pair and a GE pair of 6EM7…:man_shrugging:
