I overcame my temptation to buy that used AIC-10 yesterday, but I couldn’t resist a set of 3 Rooms FS headphone stands that a guy was selling on Head-Fi today. I’ve always admired these stands and planned to buy one of the pro models with the adjustable height if I ever came across one for sale in the US. I’m hoping these 3 standard models I bought will be tall enough to allow my Meze Elite and 2 ZMFs to rest comfortably with the cables attached.

Very cool. I love mine ( I have one Makassar Ebony, and two of the Pro Models in Black).
I think the Lissimore’s were distributing them for a while, but maybe there were stock issues? I remember Thomann (where I purchased mine) were out of stock for a while during Covid.
Though the Pro stands are adjustable/taller, the wooden version is less likely to damage your headphones. If you’re careful when removing and placing you headphones it shouldn’t be an issue.

Given what we know about @orrman here on the forum, something tells me you’re NOT going to be keeping the rest of that chain as it stands now. 
Congrats. I now know two people that have them and have yet to listen to them live anywhere. You guys are going to have to do something to rectify that.

haha could be could be, but at the moment the plan is to focus on finding an amp, speakers cables and treating the room. Don’t have plans to sell any of my headphones gear.
From my first listening impressions I’m already amazed by what these can do. It’s obviously not set up correctly yet - physical placement, any room treatment, and it’s not even plugged to my main chain, but I already have zero doubts on their capabilities and it’s quite clear I won’t be needing subwoofers which is an amazing nice surprise.

I have often wondered if I need subs and I haven’t felt the need with them. And my listening space is even smaller than yours. Looking forward to how you build your setup!

My complete set of Mon Acoustic Platimon VC One speakers arrive. My Platimon speakers arrived Monday, but the stands and isolation balls arrive today. So now I got the complete set for the full Platimon experience! There is an additional special balls that the seller never really noticed until he started packing the speakers, so he doesn’t know what they really do. I might contact the company to see what makes them “special” compare to the regular balls that is also already provided. The special balls are the pearl and black balls. The regular balls are the monochrome. The Platimon stands are way shorter, but it’s intentional as the creator for some reason want the AMT tweeter below ear level. The speaker box was 2 packages and was huge. The stands was in a bigger box, so I was a little surprise.
I will talk more about how I really feel about the speakers in the speaker general thread. Now that I finally got the stands and special isolation balls, I got so much to explore with the Platimon speakers. Man, I can’t wait for this weekend!

Uh there is no burn-in as far as I’m aware, not sure how that would work anyway as it’s a passive device. The two companies don’t mention anything about it either. Haven’t listened yet, it’s been a tiring day.
Didn’t realize more people are actually curious about it too lol. If I hear changes I’ll post it on the tweak thread.
They also have an rj45, USB, and HDMI version. I will buy those next month.

Had these for about a week now. Very entertaining to see what your $ can get with chifi iems these days.
All in got these for $140 used in a bundle. The most boring frequency response iem is actually my favorite thus far in the hexa. The singot is interesting and the rest are all at least good especially for the price. Anyway nothing too exciting just a bit of fun on a budget.
