I have been eyeing one of these recently, price ranges on these are wild!
This one was $100. Not terrible and makes framing easier. Worth it imo

This is actually a good reminder, the floor isn’t level on the side of the room where my setup is and I’ve been meaning to adjust the feet on my audio rack.

I purchased a pair of AKG K371 for my portable listening. I am returning to the office 2 days a week for work. I didn’t want to buy anything expensive as I work in a huge public building here in Cleveland. This is the 2nd time I have owned a pair of AKG K371. I forgot how good these are for a closed back at that price point.

I got a walnut burl/resin from him that’s really nice prior to Xmas that I’ve been waiting to post pictures of with the stabilized maple burl Eikon I’m waiting on…

The first one is bloodwood sandwiched between 2 slices of walnut. Now I want one like @NickMimi’s to complement the one I have.
The second one is box elder burl, with some die added in places.

Picked these up. Not super in love with the color but they’re cool. Changes so much in pics depending on the light.
If I like these I may get another set. Maybe a dark wood with stainless or gun metal grilles and rods.

I kinda dig the spalted (don’t think it’s actually spalted, is it?) look…how do they sound with the Stellaris? I keep hearing mixed things

Yeah the card says spalted oak stabilized. lol I don’t actually know tho.
Well I’ve heard people say the mj3 is a better match. I’ve heard the stellaris is a solid pairing too. I personally find the stellaris to work with it well. Really nice impact in the bass, highs are nice but not too sharp, layering is solid (actually think the layering and resolution is better on the dna than the mj3 with this pairing). Need more time with them both but I’m not disliking either.
Currently I have the caldera suede, caldera thick leather, be2, and what looks like a caldera ultra perf. I think so far I like the caldera suede. I think the caldera stock leather would be perfect. Need to pick a pair up.
These will either stay and D8kp will go or vice versa. Won’t keep both.
