I will check these out. I was going after the two pronged look below. But probably dont need the 14oz oak bark tanned leather he uses, well until i need to tow a truck.

I simply can’t do thin delicate belts anymore, it’s been decades since i purchased a “normal” off the shel/rack belt. My pants need serious belts to stay up with how much crap i carry in my pockets and on my waist. Funky suspenders will be next, yes, i will be THAT GUY🤣

Also, i very well remember that EXACT style belt, my father, (Lord rest his soul, RIP) used to beat my reckless ass senseless with that model!. Fun times…great memories…

I had the GlenAllachie 15 Year. The only high end I tried. Good stuff!

I don’t drink much at all though.

Sold my unopened D8000 yesterday and used the proceeds to purchase a beautiful natural Ash Atrium Closed from ZMF today. I really think they’ll be the perfect complement to my Meze Elite. With a closed-back biocellulose dynamic and an open-back planar, I should be covered for whatever listening mood I’m in. The new Ash AC will also look amazing next to my Ash OG Auteur. I really am a sucker for Ash ZMFs. My first and favorite Verite Closed was in Ash as well. Wish I hadn’t sold those!

You had an unopened D8k? Damn, surprised you found a dealer with that headphone in stock! Congrats.

If you like peat, that Kilkerran do a “Heavily Peated”. It is one of the nicest drams I have had the pleasure of tasting.

Another stand out peated whiskey for me is this Waterford.

Had a chance to get a good deal on DHC Chimera interconnects. I’ve heard this exact pair in my system a few months ago and it was hard to forget so glad I could get these back and call my own.

Just arrived.

First impression: pretty great. I’ll put some notes together when I get more time.

Got a bunch of Morrow Audio to connect everything I have lol (interconnects under power cables). I picked an all MA cabling because they had all the variety and lenghts that I needed.

I wish I had more money for the power cables when I bought them but still I figured this was a good way to start improving my signal chain.

Now Im missing on non stock headphones cables mostly, thats gonna be a expensive rabbit hole.

Had a double espresso to listen all nite.

Edit: Im really really enjoying the signature of the cables, im sure the dynamics are better, the bass is definitely thighter. There is an improvement in clarity and no loss of treble quantity in the signature.
im not sure yet about these but it also feels like the bass reaches down lower somehow and the mids sound bigger/more forward.

Hey those can look real good on a white shirt specially, I thought I would look like an asshole but I actually looked kinda gangster (old school)

:gem: If I was a rich girl, nana nana na nana, see id have the atrium zmf closed if I was a wealthy guuurl :notes:

Interested to hear how it compares to the HM1.
You could even do a front page article comparing two TOTL SS amps.

Mmmm… that’s kind of schmexy!

That’s right, we have a reputation to uphold apparently. According to the super best audio friends guys, we’re very highbrow while giving a nod of approval to the inexpensive staple workhorses of the hobby.

Do you know what kind of volume pot it uses?
I imagine the expensive kind but I’m just guessing.

Seems like it’s the 4-channel TKD pots (4CP-2511)

That’s a pretty fancy ($175) pot.

Pah - the trim pots on the Viva probably cost $250 a piece (They are 10 turn wire wound, probably at least 5A units) if not more than that, and there’s 2 of those :stuck_out_tongue:

But yes it’s a decent volume pot, though you can spend a lot more.

I was looking for the revered discontinued TKD stepped attenuator that is now legend. I found one $500+, i dont think i want it that bad. But TKD is great.
