They have a shorter cheaper one that would be perfect if i was keeping the imac, clearance is little over 2 inches in height for the shelves so not a ton of space but definitely better than what i had

The over priced by the seller TM tung-sol 7236 (6080) tube that I received a week ago suddenly exploded on the inside with heavy sparks, also it doesnt look like the one in the adversited photo and they sent a matched pair when supposedly I bought just a unit. Ebay tubes man 
even though the vendor has 2100 100% positive score
Luckilly neither my BHC+S nor my beyer T1.2 received damage, and the other tube still works and sounds great but it does have more hum than my $30 RCA black base 6080. listenable around 70db is a big disadvantage maybe I can fix some of it with a better preamp tube.

What came with the Radu? Siemens and some italian sounding make iirc? I wonder how the TFKs sound.
If one is brave enough, and knows they wont have interference, you can remove the metal shielding on the C3G tubes. Theyre inner construction is very unique looking and reminds me of old NY art deco.
Here is some more info, interesting that people are using adapters to try on Horizons it seems. Great explorative group but theyll have you hunting esoteric tubes and adapters for you lampi dacs all day.

Today has been a good day, finally getting closer to being done, desk came in along with the stand now in place. Today I bought a Panasonic UB820P to try out along with finally deciding on my monitor, LG C3 42”, really happy with how everything has turned out so far. Mac Studio and some other upgrades later.

Its Ultralinear+ amplifier sibling is being shipped from TMR on Monday.
BTW, always, always, always, negotiate w/TMR they took an offer of $400 less than their asking. Happened to get on the phone with a gentleman by the name of Nick Lucini (director of business dev) interesting conversation which I’ll talk about on Monday.

I miss having the LTA preamp, it’s the best pre I’ve heard so far especially after some tube rolling. And thank you for setting the volume appropriately. Congrats on the new piece of gear!
