I know! Want some of these.

That brand makes some top-tier racks.

The racks make sense, the $300 pucks do not lol! Unless I hear them on my chain and I’m proved wrong I’ll still think it’s very rare a weight will make much of a difference. Especially with headphones.

I was really thinking about pulling the trigger then I realized it’s per piece… I’ll just try out the herbies. lol

I’m all for the tube stabilizers and definitely want to try them when Herbie has them back in stock.

Got full Aq “Carbon” cables and power cable and Wyred usb recovery (carbon usb → wyred recovery → carbon usb → mackenzie xlr ic + nrg power) and the chain just woken up, more subbass and more open stage etc and a new layer of depth is very noticeable. going back to just dac amp feels muted and restrained.

Also Soloist GT on the way, if I like it I’ll get a yggy og for it. Good times.

Santa beat the stormy Christmas weather and dropped off my gift early ‘cause I’ve been a good and patient man this year. (Not a single soul set aflame and I’ve been eating my veggies)

SALK built, semi-custom, Philharmonic
BMR towers in a flaming red cherry veneer to match my Hell spawned themed room. (@Hazi59 sooo much red!) :joy:

I absolutely adore the BMR stand mounts so much I had to have more of everything they do. These are it, they will be mated to my Vinnie Rossi amp, hopefully sound as good as they look, and shut my wallet down for a long while.

Nothing else comes in unless something big goes out. (This is my 2023 promise to myself! :triumph:)
Happy listening to all, I am done adding things for a while.

Well nothing like @NickMimi :joy: but picked up a Rooms stand. Pretty nice overall. Wish it was a tad taller like my Woo stands but still very nice.

Bought some stocking stuffers for myself from Santa.

They used a rectangle cabinet and rear port? Huh. They do look gorgeous

These are all you buddy, the temptation when you mentioned them was too much. I swapped veneer to go with the room and could not be happier. I actually love the look with the port on the back and being rectangular they match the stand mounts I own too🤌 This worked out perfectly!

Damn shipping was $400 though. Ugh. And that was the cheapest they could find😳

I don’t dislike that color, though I wouldn’t call it red. It sort of reminds me of a guitar/bass/stringed instrument sunburst type of pattern and coloring, which I actually am quite fond of.

Shipping when I bought mine from Dennis was about the same. Sad!

Sick paint job! Absolutely beautiful setup!

Oh it is for sure a burst. Looking quick, and Nick can correct me, it looks like their rose red burst finish? A lot of guitars have burst finishes in dark reds and tobacco browns. Those late 50s les paul burst hint at this but have more golden amber in the middle, and over time the red they used faded to lead to more iced tea type finishes vs the cherry bursts they were painted in the factory.

Nick, is the wood curly cherry or maple? Its hard to see in the pictures. Red is notoriously hard to photograph as it blushes out so much. Maybe one of our photography friends can fill us in why.
