You just email them? I don’t see anything on the site aside from ordering them as CIEM. They slim down any as customs? I love my Quatre customs but my Infinity would love to get the treatment too.
you have to go through the NA Rhapsodio dealer Hifi-Portable.com - The in-ear monitors specialist in Europe and USA - Hifi-Portable.com give them an email and they can get you started. it cost $590 for the reshell, that price includes shipping to and from HK. Also it’s good to note that I was originally quoted 4 weeks but due to the lockdowns in china it took a lot longer.
I wouldn’t say they got smaller, in fact i’d say bigger, but because of the deeper and more close mould they do have a more flush fit in my ear, which before it felt like i had half the shell hanging out lol
Oh hey, very nice! I’m interested to hear how you like it, I’ve been enjoying mine a lot.
So far very impressed but that’s all I can say as I was listening when I was extremely tired lol. I’ll get more time with it later today and tomorrow.
What kind of schiit is this? ![]()

ZMF Universe Suede (Perforated) for the ‘Philphone 3’ I put together the other day.
Notes:
- Noticeably a warmer listen, and the midrange is now a lot more “correct”. Lost little bit of the magic it had with countertenor vocals w/ the shift down to the upper-mids and larger ear-chamber, but every other genre has benefited from the pad swap.
- Channel imbalance is no longer perceptible, so I don’t know if it’s the old pads and their orientation or what. I was a bit skeptical of suddenly noticing an overall +/- .5 db change, so maybe I fudged the seal on one side.
- Headphone is now tonally “perfect” without EQ if you don’t mind the extra treble of the TH900 stock tuning, so I’m pretty stoked about that.
- IMHO, this absolutely smokes the HD800S in everything but stage-width and likely timbre accuracy. Minus the raw technical chops, it now stands solidly next to my other TOTLs.
New little green light thingy … Added a Matrix X-spdif 2 to the group, Instant change! Noice!
Now I need to cycle through a bunch of music and headphones!!!
Oh…nice, what’s the chain you are using for that?
congratulations on the new acquisition! ![]()
Good question. I plan to pair it with a tube amp soon. Though it already sounds really good.
Since I’m already splurging on the new room setup, I went ahead and ordered this. Will be my first OLED, I’ve been using a 55in sony LED since 2016. Very excited to watch some movies as well as do some gaming on this in 4k120 dolby vision/HDR ![]()
That’s a perfect TV, you’re going to love it
Give the LG remote a shot at tuning your room. It’s surprisingly capable lol. Obviously not perfect but it’s pretty crazy what it accomplishes with a 2 channel system for spatial sound in movies.
Sadly, I think the Sony HT-A7000 soundbar isnt going to work out for us. (I posted about buying it in this thread, so Ill post the post-mortem, as well)
We’ve just received our RMA unit, and it also has an obvious problem. I dont know if 1) Sony has a defective product run, or 2) the local shipper or warehouse is improperly storing or handling them (they tend to be oddly hot when they arrive at my house…), but I have another bad HT-A7000. ($1300)
When I play a streaming movie, Bluray, game, or music, at the highest peaks + deepest bass, there is a sound that comes from the “woofers” at either end that sounds perfectly like a blown woofer. Its the classic “FFAAAAART” / “FOOOOMMMMF” sound of a cone that has either gone beyond its travel range, or has completely detached from its housing. My blood boiled when I heard it.
I cant imagine Sony is selling a soundbar that does this to everyone, but Im about to have Crutchfield take them both back, refund, and Im going to have to find something else. Im starting to look at Nakamichi’s soundbar, or possibly Klipsch, but I’ve also just expanded the budget for this soundbar. We REALLY LIKE the overall sound image that comes from the HT-A7000 and I really wanted to stick with this thing, but the woofer barfing everywhere during peak moments is a total deal breaker.
I never raised the volume on the thing beyond 65/100. : (
