The room sounds extremely good in the early morning and evening hours when the house is quietest. The space overall sounds better than many i have had the pleasure of listening in. The windows have been treated w/ thick vinyl tint, triple open cell sound deadening shades, wooden slat shades on top of the 3x cells and double thick lined sound and light blocking curtains.
Behind my seating position the room opens up further into a 5ft wide hallway further expanding the “back wall” out to 26ft and the ceiling height is at 18ft which gives me a nice open space to place my listening bubble within.
You can tell in one of the pictures how much further back than usual i pulled my listening chair today, an extra 4ft, just because i can and it still sounds great. I have options in this room and as Johnny noticed i now keep all the speakers on the same plane because i really got sick and tired of switching between the long and short wall. I’m very fortunate to have been able to dedicate my main living room to the equipment, it makes the expenditures much more worthwhile.
