Are you using a keyboard/mouse sharing utility with your multiple systems? I run Mac and Windows boxes side-by-side and couldn’t image not using something like Synergy anymore.

I’m curious, how much does all that weigh together (the TD stack)?

I dont actualy know. TD has the sublime at 32kg on their site so id imagine it would be similar to that. That said, I also have 2 more transformers in my live power (5 output instead of 3) and the streamer with the copper base plate, so maybe add an extra 10kg total or so for a total of about 42kg (90 lbs) distributed across 5 boxes? Honestly that seems a little higher than I expected but Im not guessing its too too far off.

Big fan of that rack and it’s a really good price too

This is my first stand. Seems sturdy enought!

I got it from amazon for 150$(XL version). Can be bought from monoprice with a coupon for 135$.

I love Monoprice racks. I have a couple that I split into four 2 shelf mini racks that I have above and below my desk. Such good value.

yeah I had the non-xl one before getting the xl version about a year later. The non-xl version wobbles a bit more and doesn’t feel as substantial or look as nice. The XL version is definitely the right choice.

I have the non XL, no wobbling here but it has some heavy gear on it. I’d like to get something nicer probably next year, not even sure it’ll be a rack though

Part of my wobble problem could have been that the floor is not level but the XL just feels a bit more sturdy. Found some pictures of the two with similar gear, this was about a year ago, so you can see how they compare.

Another of those natural post consolidation points that makes it worth a new photo. I spent the first half of the year building cables and some passive elements to fill in some gaps.

I added a passive stepped attenuator between the BF2 RCA out and the Whammy. The single ended output of the BF2 is pretty hot and even with high impedance headphones I was barely getting up to 50% volume. I experimented and found that by passively attenuating the signal before the amplifier so that I could listen to all headphones at around 40% to 60% on the Whammy I get much better sound, particularly to low impedance headphones. They no longer sound anaemic and bass light.

I finally found some large glass monitor stands, replaced the legs to get more height and more stability and those are now my shelving.

Very happy with the setup at present. Time to save for a couple of higher end things in the future now as apart from a couple of cables there is little I think I could gain from adding or swapping anything sub thousand gear.

Additionaly for my two channel I have the finished ACA mini. It gets hot but it sounds so sweet, a really lovely amplifier. It is very ground hum sensitive though so I can’t use any ungrounded gear in front of it. I need to get around to a good phono preamp to be able to reconnect the turntable.

I am not jelly much but your “Gothique” streamer… yeah.

Thank you!

The more I live with it the more I appreciate what I achieved in the build. It took a long time to dawn on me but yeah. I think it is the best money I put into any of my chain now. If I take a break from listening to music and then come back to it from the PC I immediately hear the difference.
