He looks like former Miami Dolphins head coach Dave Wannstedt, lmaoā¦
Thatās funny, especially because theyāre German.
Great for geeking on texture and tactility.
What streaming service is that? Tidal? I donāt see it on Qobuz.
Qobuz, though it must be a recent addition
Weird. Iāll have to look again. Thanks!
Edit: I found it. Was on mobile through Roon and didnāt see it initially. Once I hit versions for the album I could. Thanks!
It was Apple Music when it was released. Great version with lots of extras.
Qobuz also has that version, I just HATE rereleases with bonus tracks.
I am unable to listen to an album in anyway thatās not itās entirety (OCD), and the bonus content is generally not at the same level as the original release, so it irritates me.
Most outtakes and alternate versions arenāt. Itās still nice to hear for fans of the artists.
My favorite version of this song (itās not the original album release). I have it on CD from a different boxed set (also under a slightly different title), but that set isnāt on Apple Music. Fortunately itās on this album.
Iāll try this when I get back from vacation. I hated the 2011 remaster.
My favorite right now is the MFSL CD (first MFSL I bought, I think), which I actually hated when I first bought it, because I thought it sounded too clean compared to the original CD, but I grew to love it.
ban the extra tracks from the album play, itās a handy little feature
I was just listening to Steve Miller Band yesterday. Their whole catalog seems to be recorded/mastered so well. Good stuff.
I know weāve already used a lot of space up on this selection but, I have listened to this remaster and I really enjoyed it. So much so Iām considering buying it to replace my own FLAC rip of the CD in my library.
I probably would not have listened to this particular version if not for all the chatter in this thread and Iād been missing out.
You have a pretty wide taste in music. Growing up in England in the 80s, I developed a similarly eclectic taste because I had no concept of āgenreā as a kid, so the extreme mixture of different genres I heard on top 40 radio or watched on Top Of The Pops was just music.
I probably watched Echo & The Bunnymen play The Cutter on TOTP, so I looked up who else was on that particular episode. An interesting mix, from similar post-punk of U2 (New Years Day) and new wave of Joe Jackson (Stepping Out) to the more pop end of the spectrum, with Laura Brannigan (Gloria), Phil Collins (You Canāt Hurry Love) and Kajagoogoo (Too Shy).
