so turns out Ajikan just released their new song a few days ago and then yesterday released a first take recording of solanin on YT so I have been going in hard on a nostalgia trip with these legends.

The new song is pretty good, shows they still have it and can make new music that is good. The video itself brings some major feels especially if you are a longtime fan. I like it.
Oh boy. what a perfect way to kick off the first of many (hopefully) first takes. Probably their most well known song and imo one of the best. Really love this version, it doesn’t have as much rawness to Gotoh’s vocal delivery as the original but instead has more refined vocal technique in comparison. they still got it.

Haru just dropped her new single and as usual it slaps. She is fast becoming one of my favorites, the lyrics are great if a bit weird at times (translation is hard), but the message is always a highlight and relevent. This time she went super hard trap beats and all lol

Been listening to this album since it was released last year from this unknown band, for the most part, Molassess. Three tags I’d label it with would be psychedelic, progressive, rock. This song is the one that is striking a chord with me atm. Good production too. Enjoy.
