Yes, the Pumpkins are fantastic. I saw them at a small outdoor venue in Atlanta a handfull of years ago. Great show with lots of energy. They sounded so fricken good! I was hoarse for a few days after from singing along the entire show. Great memories!

I only got to see them once when I was a teenager back in the mid 90s. I remember that summer very well because a few weeks after I saw Smashing Pumpkins I got a chance to see David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails opened for Bowie.

The only time I’ve ever lost my voice from a show was the 3 times I got to see Rush live. Though I was deaf for a few days after seeing Dio, Iron Maiden and Motorhead back in 2003…still the loudest show I’ve ever been to, lol.

new Aimer b-side collection came out recently, and normally I don’t pay much attention to these compilations, but this one included remastered tracks and some bonus goodies that made it worth checking out imo

Still waiting for mine to come in the mail. Figured I’d go physical to get the blu-rays too!

I wish she’d do another special concert symphony. That one’s my favorite, really highlighted her voice.

I have recently listened to a 50/50 mix of actual music and just sound demos like the one below.

I’ve been in love with the new Hikaru album for the past few days. Very good, definitely her best output since 2016’s Fantome.

I heard that her live recording at air one studios is fantastic with songs from this album. Looking forward to it when it comes out on the 23rd.

I was having one of these days yesterday:

…though I’ve been listening Fantôme this morning because of Towa (and because I’ve never heard the album before).

Yes! Portishead good!

Fantome is pretty good for a return album, it was her first album in a while after taking a 6 year hiatus from doing music, which is a very long time in that industry. It ultimately did what it needed to do, which was spark interest and a revival amongst her fans and it was very successful at that… Not the most innovative tho.
Hatsukoi was good as well but more of the same, and now we have bad mode which is 4 years since hatsukoi. I’d say this is a true return to form for her and brings a lot of new ideas and production shine to her music as well presents Hikaru in one of her most mature albums to date imo. Best post return album and honestly might be in top 3 of her discography imo

After watching the Daiki Tsuneta documentary on Netflix, I’ve been listening to some King Gnu and enjoying them a lot.
