I found Pete & Bas a while ago, M0N actually rec’d them to me. Cool to see some other folks getting into them too!

I just admire the drummer. Sure he’s not showing super technical skill, but he doesn’t need to!
Just the right amount with all the feeling!

One of the songs that got me into drumming

The first of several albums, Ghish sets the tone for what was to come from the Pumpkins. Rhinoceros being the hit single really captures the essence of the band and showcases Billy Corgan’s grandiose style of melodies and guitar riffs. The dude can write and carry a tune (and allegedly wrote tunes for others like Hole). Good stuff.

I’ve been waiting for this to be released.
It’s also an example of why I hang on to my Amazon HD subscription because sometimes albums are released that qobuz doesn’t have yet.

I only truly appreciated the playing on Dig, and the man’s style, when I saw this:

He’s a beast.

Ah, I love when I see someone who knows Ethel Cain. I remember when I first discovered her. I love Preacher’s Daughter, it is a great album!

My friend texted me to listen to this Violin Concerto on my Platimon speaker system. He described particularly the last piece, Dramma musicale, eroico, lirico e gioioso, as a “Sonorously delicious piece”. I have no better way of describing it than he as this piece truly felt magical.

I love these older, “raw” sounding (this one is actually very clean) recordings.

Just the musician with his voice/instrument. Very cool.
