This is very much a large reason lol, look at the chains a lot of those reviewers are running, if you can go try them on those chains, you will see why they say what they say lol. Also from a FR perspective some literally look at the graph and just complain about that

Didnāt know the development history behind it. In our corporate fluff rah-rah for the new year, I was introduced to the concept of āHippoā the highest paid personās opinion. And how we sometimes lose sight or disregard a good idea or good feedback because because the tendency is to go with the hippo opinion or just the loudest argument.

Another hopefully brief aside.
Product design is hard.
Feedback is important, but you have to understand context, when you ask for feedback, youāll get it whether someone likes whatās there or not, and generally it will be in the form of slight changes to what they are presented with as opposed to what they want.
At the end of the day someone has to own and ship something they believe in, or you risk shipping the lowest common denominator and no one is happy.
I could anecdotally recount the useless feedback we got in early playtests of various games I worked on, 90% of it was obvious to everyone before we put anyone in front of the game, the other 10% specious. Watching video of someone playing the game for the first time was however valuable.

I think there is a ton of synergy with senn stuff in general. If its bad its real mehhh, if its good it soars.
Having one of the amps that was developed with the hd800 in mind doesnt hurt either. Not saying its the amp doing the work but it hits the main nails.

Yup I actually just listened to another one 2 days ago. Made it a point to talk about the hd800sā lackluster bass, found out he was running an modius magnius stack and was pretty positive that was the issue there. The bass has been one of many parts of that set Iāve thoroughly enjoyed.

Just got another email from the uk store,ā¦ with order shipped and tracking!
I called and confirmed. They said they got 60 sets but they go fast. Price was about the same as buying from Senn US, but i am still keeping my order in from Senn until i have pads in hand.

Despite being on the phone with them 10 minutes prior and them saying they had no idea and to not expect anythingā¦ Got an update from Senn as well saying my order is prepared to be sent out.
Im really hoping this change of hands doesnt kill their normally stellar CS. Right now it seems neither hand knows what the other is doing. :The face:

Is the stock cable on the HD800s worth having at all, apart from resale? Set I just picked up doesnāt come with a cable, so currently planning to just grab a pair of DHC Triple Threats to use cables Iāve already got.

Thanks. I figure between Lazuli Ultra, Comp C, and Molecule Elite 19, one of them should have good enough synergy.
