I got sent an invite for this forum months ago, from Mon on HFG. Truth is I forgot and rediscovered this place when I bought my HEK last week. Very happy to have found this place again; I like HFG, but that place seems like it is ever more increasingly an IEM forum. And who needs more IEMs after you get a Timeless, right!?
I listen to everything but particularly enjoy heavy progressive rock. I used to be a drummer, so that is typically the focus of my listening. Favourite bands would probably be Oceansize and Smashing Pumpkins. Really into Haken and Plini at the moment.
I’ve only been into the hobby a few years. First real can was the HD560s. And do you know, that thing still impresses me - specially on tubes. My main has been my HE-500 for a while. Love my Gumby MB. Love my Mojo and Mojo 2 - both great with Timeless. Currently running a Kinki THR-1 as my main amp, which again, ticks all my boxes.
Happy to be amongst many such excellent taste and knowledge.
