Spotify: Shinsekai by Midori
Continuing my Mariko Goto listening sessions with some good 'ol Midori and their magnum opus album Shinsekai. They were just a perfect storm of all these crazy elements and genres that shouldn’t really work together but for some reason or another they did, extremely well even. Japanese punk at it’s most creative, chaotic and rawest state.
New LiSA MV and song dropped today and that’s how I knew it was going to be a good day 
Really great song, very powerful lyrics and of course the talent on showcase is just 
I got goosebumps at that first chorus drop. The song and story being told here is amazing and the moment you realize what the song is about, it becomes even better.
This is hopefully just the start to a great 2024 for LiSA, New Album and World Tour please!

Found another gem from last year’s releases, I’m not usually too big on self cover acoustic albums, but I was honestly blown away with how good this one was. Mao Abe is fast becoming a artist I look out for, this and her last full length are awesome.
This album also had the Omega’s singing, so that might have something to do with my enjoyment level 
Love her voice and her live performances are outstanding. She has heaps of charisma!

Another good album that I’ve finally caught up on, this is her first full length and it is very solid for someone so young. Pop and rnb with some decent ballads, sounds really promising. I will have to keep an eye out for future material

I made my wish come true and she made her wish come true. This is truly a happy moment for both me as her fan and her as an artist. I am so proud to be able to share this moment with her on her first-ever world tour concert and she did a phenomenal job that no media can ever capture how magical it is to hear Ado in person. This is truly a good year to be an Ado fan

It’s not that I hate it that much just that it was so bad that it was funny lol Hey I bought all the LN up to volume 15 in my last big haul so at least I’m planning on giving the series a fair shake at some point… probably not watching this new season for a while though
