Suisei dropped her 3rd album today, Shinsei Mokuroku

I used my trusty Onkyo A800 and really enjoy this album. I don’t think I like it more than her first album, but I want to say I like it better than her 2nd album. My favorite song is probably BIBBIDIBA. Even though its old song, its still a really fun song to listen to both lyrically and the beat.

Another person I really like listening to drop an album today and her name is Yoshino. Ths is her first album, Highly Ridiculous.

I first listened to Yoshino and followed her on Youtube and she did a little collab with Ado when they did the song “Ready Steady”. I seen her did some anisongs and enjoyed them. I haven’t listen to her album yet and will plan on listening to it sometime later today. But based on the some songs I already know in her album, I know I am going to enjoy it.

That should be amazing! super jealous

I’m assuming this show is just Sawano, no guest/featured singers? His solo stuff is still pretty great regardless.

Ayano Kaneko basically decided to form a band with her support members from her solo project, and is calling themselves “kanekoayano”. Active since last summer.

This is a youtube live performance from earlier this year, with over an hour long set. I been addicted to watching this performance for the last few months, the also released their first full album back in April.

Just when I didn’t think I could love Ayano more than I already did… It’s great how this differs a lot from her solo music, it’s a lot more instrumental and a greater focus on the band mates and what they bring to the music.

Shout-out to sawano for such a fun night and memorable experience! It was awesome seeing my favorite composer in the flesh with a good handful of my favorite songs (and singers). The two songs that received the loudest applause were Avid and aliez, which were both sung by mizuki (yes she is much cuter in person ). If they were able to get an orchestra in there that would’ve been perfect. Honestly, the instruments were bare-bones, but the performance was still enjoyable. My mini rant for the day… A LOT of people came late and were crowding the view of the front. Like seriously, either come on time or have the staff lock you out … I guess that’s just the natural difference between having a theater as a venue versus a dedicated music/concert hall… whatever

Anyway, here are some pics!
