These new Aries models look sick, huge upgrades and unfortunately a proportional price hike!
New Ananda Nano and Arya Organic
Very interesting. That felt kinda out of nowhere tbh.
Grimm is apparently making their own dac. Maybe this is why all the tambaquis have been on the used market recently?
Makes sense considering they used to make a very nice studio dsd adc, wonder how it will be
That does looks interesting. 11th order noise filtering/shaping seems like their big marketing point. Nice that itās all discrete/proprietary.
Theyāre sticking with the knob nobody likes.
Interesting reading on the link though. Didnāt even know that PWD modulation even existed as a conversion method before this.
I think thatās the conversation method Chord uses. They use 17th order noise shaping (at least on the DAVE).

Enleum Amp-54r starting at $20K
I just hate āadvertisingā white papers that say basically nothing.
I havenāt read it yet but skimming it I was kinda wondering if it was just 2 pages of buzzwords tbh
It probably makes sense if you have the details of what they are actually doing, without that itās mostly meaningless drivel.
AFAICS basically they are doing some variation on a theme with multiplexing a single bit.
It likely isnāt something particularly novel. I guess the idea is to vary the pulse width to do do the noise shaping. Itās not radically different than what the DCS ring DACās do, but they vary amplitude to do the same thing.
10,000 marketing words arenāt anywhere near as helpful as a few good hours of listening.
Exactly.
Hopefully weāll get some listening impressions at some point.
Someone mention a new Final product in the other thread. We got pics now! Itās called the X8000 and this looks pretty futuristic. I know this is a prototype, but that headband does not look comfy.
Over $5K and will be coming at the end of the yearā¦

I hope we can get a sample in one of the America audio events this year. Would love to try these out before release!
Those look really interesting and cool, hopefully Iāll be able to listen to them since Iāll be both days at the Munich High-End.
Nice! Please report back if you do. They havenāt given any information, but I didnāt do too much digging around. Hope they reveal specs and what type of driver it is at the show. Also, enjoy your time at Munich High-End. Pretty jealous, that show looks really nice and professional.
