Itās not available for listening yet.
Make sense since it looks unfinish. I still hope we get some more information today on these headphones.

Imma be honest, I am not a big fan of these pads. I hope this is just a placeholder pad or the final version looks better. I can convince myself that they look cool and think of them as chainmail armor.
Hard to tell from the video, but Iād assume itās to allow a lot of the sound to escape, a high tech version of the CA-1A Coffee Bean pads.
Iād be concerned with cost of them, though Final hasnāt been terrible in that regard previously.
Looks to be very light, I wonder what that means in terms of the focus of the design.
around $5K is what I read (>700K yen)
I think theyāre trying something different and thatās cool. That is what high end concepts and eventually TOTL headphones should do imo to push the hobby forward.
Was talking about the earpads, hoping those arenāt 5K
oh lol
unfortunately I read somewhere that even the pads I have on my LE arenāt really available at the moment for purchase on their own so thatās not very promisingā¦
looks cool
Yep cant find any replacement LE pads.
Also concerned about the no headband pads and just metal bands on the head.
Iād say this is a must for comfort levels on D8K after using it for a while. Dramatic improvement.
How does anyone need new pads on an LE? Isnāt it a relatively new can, a year or so old? What do people do with their headphones to wear through a pair of pad that quick?
Or is it a case of Pro owners buying up the LE pads and hence the lack of availability?
No one is buying LE pads, you simply canāt at the moment afaik. I wanted a second set just in case.
someone on head-fi posted the D8K prototype, so who knows how the X8000 will end up lookingā¦
This makes me far more comfortable tbh. That design looks trash tbh
I have a perfect model head, the only HP Iāve ever put on that bothered me was the OG Audeze head band. #blessed #fearnohp
I usualy donāt have much issues with fit either. Og audeze and rad are the only two that realy stood out and I think that was a combo of the band and weight as opposed to just one or the other tbh
This looks pretty cool. I wonder if theyāll eventually be releasing a matching DAC?
New Enleum speaker amp, AMP-54R.
