That might be a dramatic change. Look forward to reviews. I’m guessing they still work with older Elites with the magnets so it should be an easy upgrade if they really do improve the sound.

They look good that’s for sure

Topping is making an enegizer an targeting EDIT: sub $500 sub 1k usd from what I can tell. Honestly, given how shit every sub 1k enegizer I’ve tried has been, this may be a very legit competetor. I do wonder what tubes they are using. Could honestly breathe some new life into the estat space which would be cool

There are quite a few impressions on the new angled pads on the Elite and Empyrean threads over on Head-Fi. The main thing they seem to do is tame the mid-bass on both headphones. The change seems to be more dramatic on the Empyrean from what I’ve read.

I’d happily trade in my OG flat alcantara pads for the new angled version, because I’m not a fan of the original alcantara pads. I very clearly preferred the hybrid pads when I compared the two.

makes a lot of sense considering the difference between the empy and elite to start with

Weren’t you looking for some weird combo of headphone adapter @Souldriver ? These are made with Neutrik cores so it’s a good foundation to start from. Take a look and see if your request is offered here.

In terms of operation, it makes a great impression on the length of the video.

No, :joy: :hugs: I’ve known about the Sarah since very early on and I had the option of changing my order or adding it to my order long ago and could have probably had one of the first 10 built.

I chose to go with the Shiny Eyes and personally could not be happier with my choice. The quality synergy and compatibility with my other equipment is spot on.

I was lucky, it happened to work out for me. The future is wide open, who knows what I may do. For now I would be happy enough to simply get some quality time with all I have on hand.

I’m sure there is hype with the AMP, plenty of it, and if Steve voiced it and put in the materials as he does his other pieces most of the hype is probably well justified, thus many folks will be well pleased. I wouldn’t be opposed to one, just not actively looking at the moment.

I bet Urd to Yggdrasil via Unison will sound pretty damned good.

Looks like the Audeze MM-500 had a one-nighter with the Maxwell, with this baby coming soon!

Color this Audeze fan intrigued! Hope this isn’t some kind of April Fools’ joke.

What are the players in the sub-500 space these days? I remember it being the Sennheiser 6 series, Beyer 1990 and Hifiman Sundara
