Chord Tax =)

Kinda looks like the volume knob on a hafler ha75, which is actually likely a similar price lol

Iā€™ll take a volume knob over having to use stupid glass balls to adjust the volume any day lol, this is a step forward

M0N ainā€™t a fan of the balls, huh? lol

I actually like the one in the Mojo; not so bad imo.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Schiit has been implementing akm for so long now, wonder how they will do with ess, interesting

$100 for self-installation might be a lil bit costly. Iā€™d probably just save up for a DAC upgrade. Then again I have no experience with Schiit products.

That chord page was deleted. I wanted to know how much power it had

It didnā€™t say. All it had was a price. Iā€™m currious who it is designed by though. Yhe amp stage of their integrated stuff doesnā€™t tend to be great and this is clearly designed to go along with the qutest so Iā€™m currious if watts had much to do with it

Itā€™s definitely the other guy because Theyā€™ve pushing their feedforward topology since the etude launched which apparently sounds very different from old Chord Amps

That is actually my main concern as well. ESS chips arenā€™t easy to implement. So it will be interesting to see what the end result turns out to be.

Jason has said a few times in interviews he axtualy likes some of their new ess implementations better than their akm ones so Iā€™m kinda curious. I do trust his ears a decent bit tbh

Hasnā€™t he also said he has liked things like the heresy or magnius? That doesnā€™t really inspire confidence to me lol

I havent heard either one so :woman_shrugging:

But tbh, I was under the impression that they were solid for the price

This is cool, went under the radar

Would stack well with the hyposos, I donā€™t need it but I really kinda want to try it lol

Interesting, I know you like the Hypsos, not a lot of details on the page.

Lots of marketing buzzwords but the hypsos was solid, I hope this will be as well

Smol but mighty = immediately interested. Anyonr know much about the company/designer and previous products?

Ima be honest, read that page (not much info) I dont realy get what the hypoos is. Its a clean power supply from the looks of it? But then why a knob?

8w into 60 Ohms balanced so possibly a cheaper Susvara choice.
But 44 Ohm output impedance is very high, though not necessarily an issue, and it does imply minimal feedback,
You going to pick one up to pair with your Hypsos?
