Yeah, I kind of guessed that it would be around there. No balanced inputs either, but that would probably make it too competitive with Schiitās direct offerings.
Iām sure weāll see feedback soon enough.
I noticed many websites listing the Susvara as " (Latest revision) ". Didnāt know there was a silent revision lately. Anyone knows anything about it?
I know they changed the cables, havenāt heard about any other changes
I wonder were Luxman is heading after itās sale. It might have a sad ending like Anchor Steam Brewing⦠similar stories, but diffent industries. It seems like a departure from their previous astethitcs. In any event, Iāve always been a fan of Luxman and Accuphase. Thanks for sharing.
Always dug the look of their speakers, particularly their standmounts. That huge scooped out tweeter indent that matched the diameter of the woofer. Just cool, unique looking speakers. That and theyāre Finnish, I believe. Never owned them but always a bit of lust!
Oh wow! I wonder if Zach will offer an upgrade path like with the Auteur. Iāve been planning on selling my Eikon, but it might be fun to see how I like the new drivers.
Well he shouldnt have a reason not to, I mean if its done with the auteurs why not do it with the eikons, also same drivers apparently.
Zach has also been doing a lot of these wood color + blue and blue + darker blue stabilized and full purple too. I think those colors are selling like hotcakes.
I was interested too, more than a little!
I managed to score this one, it was the only B-stock hence at a price I felt sort of OK about.
Itās an Eikon called āAureolinā of stabilized Maple burl.
That was one of the prettier ones that actually caught my eye. That and 2 of the greens.
I do wonder why it is a āstabilizedā as maple burl should be good to go on its own. Unless he just coats them in resin for whatever reason, which there is something giving that amber glow.
Itāll probably be more evident when I get it, there must be some kind of sketchy areas in the burl where he felt it might disintegrate when cutting and machining it. The resin in this one would be mostly just to make sure it holds together Iād guess.
It is pretty in the pictures, canāt wait to see it in person! Iāll post pics when I get it for sure.
Not sure if anyone came across this, an affordable DAC collaboration between Fezz Audio and Lampizator:
From the Warsaw audio show:
Fezz turned heads with the introduction of their Equinox tubed DAC, a collaborative venture with Lukasz of LampizatOr. It not only boasted an impressive look but also delivered a sound akin to a scaled-down version of a LampizatOr DAC.
A few retailers have it available for pre-order with delivery expected in March:
No aes, bummer
Your AES cable costs more than this DAC
Are tubes becoming too mainstream?
Oh geez. Cool idea I guess, but we need this to fail lol. Canāt have normal people buying up all the tubes lol.
Never heard of Kerrā¦
