Focal headphone thread, Radiance / Celestee / Clear / Stellia / Utopia

Mine are 2020 version, halfway to needing new pads but no goop. Perhaps some skin oils or acids kick it off, or humidity stalls or accelerates it?

A little isopropyl alcohol cleaned mine up nicely! But no way I’m putting those pads back on.

If you guys dont get support maybe we can get a utopia pad group buy. Instead of costing a fortune it’ll be a fortune -$5. :sweat_smile:

Holy smokes! I just got a response from Focal, they are sending me a complimentary set of replacement pads! Gold star for customer support.

Don’t call the FNA support number. Even though it’s an American phone number, the menu is in French.

Never mind, apparently I called the Canadian number.

And support request sent on my end as well.

I should check my radiance pads but theyre usually good.

They are sending me a pair of replacement pads and said to clean around the cup with isopropyl. Which is fine. I didn’t really want to send them in, lol.

I mean it has to be the adhesive their using, but you’d have thought given how common the issue is they would have changed it.

I would hope so. My utopia is a 2020 version and is ok, the radiance i bought in 2018 and it just started.

I should check my Utopia pads, 2020 version purchased March 2023. I guess fortunately I don’t have the pads on my headphones anyway, I put ZMF pads on it some time ago…

I used the support form you linked to send in what i have. I dont have an invoice so im not sure if theyll want to assist.

@Towa @elementze did you get an email confirmation your farm was submitted, mine 404ed then went on the reload but i never got the usual receipt.
