I’d like to share my experience here, because it is quiet impressive and was not awaiting such a difference!

  • Initially tested K22 via USB to my Holo May KTE DAC, was okay (too laid back/soft for full-range)
  • Afterwards sticked with my Abbas Audio HERMES Tube-DAC via S/PDIF and also tested AES/EBU (no difference), way better than USB/Holo
  • Now I use USB from K22 to Ideon Audio ION…holy moly!!! I’m blown away how much difference it made and was shocked and not expecting that!
  • I do usually test with the Album “Yosi Horikawa, Wandering”, because those special effects are extraordinary and you here any difference in your chain right-away, at least for my ears …it was such an improvement of overall soundstage, depth, clarity…damn, I’m impressed!

@gerihifi I too was introduced to Yosi Horikawa a few years ago by our friend @Veritas and find many of his pieces instrumental in allowing me to test spatial qualities and capabilities :+1: I highly recommend too.
