A massive part of the 2 channel listening experience is the room and what it allows me to hear. Having the luxury of space to move the equipment, accessories and furniture; along w/ a quiet environment, has made a bigger difference than upgrades alone and allows me to hear the nuances the equipment upgrades are making. It has taken me a long time to understand the character and acoustic qualities of my listening space but I’m finally starting to “get it”.
As i continue to re-model, update, upgrade and repair my home; tweaks, character modifications, and sound/noise modifications are being attended to.

1 major change is the fan in the music room, the old fan is gorgeous but the motor assembly makes too much noise when running and can be heard during quiet music passages, thus out she goes and in comes a new model from Big Ass fans that will also include a light package w/ much improved motor assembly.

Well happens we have an agent here so I called it in. If I sold my ceiling I still couldn’t afford the fan lmao … It’s a nice fan though.

I happen to have used them on some work projects recently and was very impressed by their equipment. I had spoken to the sales rep and technical technician multiple times and they had me sold on their products for a long while now. You get your money’s worth and they are quick to respond with technical help and also warranty assistance. Solid company to do business with and long life product. Also, i happen to love the look of the oil rubbed bronze, i’m really gonna turn this into a music room, motif and all.

What did you do with your old coffee table the size of an average Tokyo apartment?

That coffee table will be getting new handles/hardware and moving into the new sitting area / lounge (previously referred to as the dining room) I’m setting up for the missus…

Hello,
Bought the cable this week.

It’s definitely better than the normal cable that usually comes with it.
When I bought the hybrid amplifier, it didn’t come with one, which is okay.

I think it has mainly brightened up the dark passages, or rather made them clearer than before, which is better.
And in the other areas, bass and mid-treble have also gained a little.

I was a bit worried because the tests were mainly described by marketing sites, but I was positively surprised.
It was exactly the right cable for the amplifier, to be honest.

I’m satisfied and the price is perfectly OK.

Same thing. We got them where I work, the industrial stuff but yes they are quite well made from what I have seen but now I get why I have only seen them at the company lol. I’d love one all the same just not something I could live with right now.

Tubes, tubes and more tubes arriving from across the world slowly but surely.
Replacements, new rolls, spares…something for every occasion and flavor. :hugs:

Please let us know how it feels. I tried looking at copies before but forums often said that there’s just no comparison to the real thing — not just in build but comfort as well.

Given your expanding tube collection, what is the expected lifetime of a tube? Do they fail suddenly (like burning out), or is it a slow degradation in sound quality over time?
