After I had repaired the Little Dot 1+ due to a defect in summer with high quality capacitors and tube socket and Burson V5i op amp.
Here is the latest prank by chance found a nice new pair of LM Ecrison W403B that arrived on Friday.
The burn in was okay in the first moment, soundwise not surprising at first.
But today, after playing them for several hours over the weekend, the revelation came out of them.
Again a good bit of sound gained, especially in the depth and completion, and in all areas beautifully homogeneous.
And they run very harmoniously with the installed components.
So they are absolutely worth the money in that respect.
What makes the Ercisson stand out is not only the gold pin, but also the wire which is made of gold and led to the inside, the workmanship is absolutely top.

I upgraded from a huge 30" + crt to a 50" vizio years ago. Its been a workhorse, but i do miss watching x-files in the original format. My table doesnt miss holding up 250 lbs of tv.

The first step around my big system has arrived! Verite Closed monkey wood! It’s impossible to get a snapshot of the headphone that is accurate colorwise but it certainly looks reeeally nice in person. Ill get some time to give it a listen tomorrow finally! Excited! Thanks to my boiiii @don for ridiculously fast shipping and everything basically. Everything ive bought from him has been awesome so far and i expect the same from the verite closed!

so i have two steps to this plan basically. It was and will still be a 4-5 month plan because it’s no chump change that imma be throwing around. All while basically being the new money responsible jose, which means that even as i make these big purchases i will always have at least 1k in my bank account lol. So it will take quite a while to save up, but eventually i have a few different possible set ups in mind for the verite and my speakers. Nothing is set on stone yet because it will really mostly depend on wether my system ends up being run balanced or single ended and on what used deals i find. The second part to my system is basically just the temporary setup i built up to be able to actually use the vc and not wait 4-5 months to get to hear it haha. Basically i bought a second hand LP as a very temporary amp but also for nostalgia reasons lolz (and was dirt cheap) and then also used my sister’s credit card to buy a bifrost 2 :theface: That bifrost 2 in particular was a purchase i decided on doing to have a reeeeally good dac hold me up for months before i upgrade, also to support an american company by buying directly from them AND you can never have too many dacs and amps laying around in case something breaks down 
(also bought that black bifrost 2 baby! whoop whoop). Finally to my failcore-esque monologue, besides a dac and amp upgrade i plan on a preamp upgrade for my speakers, considering how i have had this pic as my pc wallpaper for quite a bit
Im thinking going along with that one if i end up going SE or a diff pass preamp used for balanced.
Sooooo yesss, this is my giant project. Will take alot of money, alot of time. But It’s planned around my speaker system and VC as the main baes. First before all those upgrades i gotta finish paying my boi @don tho! The project will be slightly delayed because i decided all of this just two months before christmas! lol Slowly but surely it will all be coming together tho!
