WTF language is this? not one single word understood, My geek speak is weak and my nerd is seemingly non-existant

Too bad that Lab12 Dac1 Reference from Greece has mixed reviews. It looks really nicely built though.

It arrived on Thursday, but figured I’d post it now since I can enthusiastically recommend it. My Beautiful Audio Diana V2 Headband arrived and it is a game changer. The comfort increase is huge and it also has helped better position the pads, which does lead to sonic differences with the V2.

I got a new boom arm for my microphone today, I was getting fed up with the cheap Amazon one I bought forever ago. This one is much nicer and has a lot more height and range of motion for positioning.

I also bought a glorious wooden wrist rest to go with my gmmk pro a while back and it finally arrived today. It feels realy nice and while it’s taking me a bit to get used to typing at the elevated position it is a good deal more comfortable and will be a godsend for when i’m playing pc games for extended amounts of time.

Well… Got a new job offer coming in, and I may have splurged a bit too much. Bought a pair of Diana v2 and an LCD2 Prefazor. I am extremely excited! Might have to hit @Hazi59 up for that headband if the comfort for the v2 isn’t up to snuff :stuck_out_tongue:

Pictures when they get here next week

They actually did pretty well on a 2 hour or so jog. I’m pleased.

I’m pretty hooked on my true wireless set still. The convenience is undeniable and they sound plenty good enough for when I’m moving around and passively listening which is the exact use case for these.

2 hour jog, lol. I would need paramedics waiting fir me at the finish line.

Impressive!

Really looking forward to my time with this, unfortunately didn’t get the case with it, so I might need to sort out contacting Valentium on Etsy or look elsewhere

The summer was much much too warm for headphones here and our apartment has no airco so I’ve been listening using IEMs at home. I was finding my then amp choices too powerful. I was going to get the iFi attenuator until I saw that I could change the op-amp on the Xduoo XD-05.

I have a spare Burson dual op-amp left over from when I owned an Aune so I tried it out. I find the XD-05 with this to have a meatier, slightly less aggressive sound which is much more to my taste for general listening and PC use.

Installation was pretty straightforward, four hex screws and the top pulls gently free. The op-amp was a little fiddly to swap due to the cramped space but ultimately it only took five minutes.

Very nice! I have an XD-05 Plus and yeah, swapping the op amp made such a huge difference for me. (I have an AD827SQ in mine.)

Though funnily enough, I’m not sure if the Plus has a higher noise floor than the normal one, but I’ve still been using an IEMatch with mine when I use IEMs.

I have the basic and I’m finding that about 50% volume on lowest gain is perfect for the iems I have. Be interesting if there was a difference in that respect
