Stopped at a local thrift store today…fun to poke around.
Bought a boxed set of all 9 Beethoven symphonies. DG with Karajan and Berlin.
Still in order and look like never or rarely played, no scratches or even dust.
$3.00 but on a media sale so additional 50% off! Go figure.

LCD-24 from Audeze b-stock sale. $1499 seemed like a steal for these.
These are very easy to drive so trying to find a good setup where I have enough volume control.

It probably would pair well but I’ve boxed it up since I’m trying to sell it. Despite the power that amp puts out it seems to do well with all sorts of headphones regardless of their power requirements.

I think i am still in the 2.2pf camp between it and the 24, but the bass on the 24 is so darn good.
I only have a bad mp3 rip of this song but how the 24 emulates the bass driver wobble is, its just,… give it a listen

Got me the one and only DHC Chimera speaker tap → XLR Adaptor
Since chimera is 3 wires a side this one needed to be made special. Pete took a C15 wire, pulled out the inner channel of the coax, and inserted a prion4 wire for each polarity. I asked if he would do this for a normal HP cable and he told me only for 200% up charge

Oh, also, power cables and USB I plan to install tonight. Still one power cable short though, so gunna swap my thicker feeling stock aic power chord to the one between the wall and the Furman for now.

Power cables are just long enoygh at the connector I can’t keep my conditioner in the same place as before 
Guess I’ll have to mess with positioning a bit
