Both, I do think overall they can be a higher class, do to some potential limitations I think there are ways to get the 4 cans in this thread title closer than you might think if you go far enough on source gear
No, and actually previously I’ve said (somewhere, not sure if it was here or elsewhere) it’s easier to take a shang sr to potential than a susvara, but there’s a reason for that, and it’s mainly that the market for stat amps is actually pretty small, so you really don’t have the wealth of higher options for stat amps as you do for traditional headphone amps let alone speaker
