Show your setup!

@Draaly :joy:   hehehe. I tried setting up something at work, I simply can’t sit still long enough to enjoy it nor actually get anything done with music on. I’m that co-worker you would shoot/set-aflame/beat w/a stick :hugs:

One is a DDC the other is the dac

Damn I envy you. We just moved to hot desking last month to save money and optimize space :person_facepalming:
Let alone my music setup, we can’t even leave our books, keyboards and mouse on the table when we leave work

That seriously sucks. But how many days each week do you have to be in the office?

Well at any given day they think only 70% of our team works from the office. So the total capacity is just 90%. So if everyone shows up someday it will be messy.
I am there usually 3-4 days a week

I moved to a very small room and I had no furniture so I got a bunch of costco tables

Theres my amps in one table, and the burson funk driving the klipsch 6.5. Dac is exogal comet plus via spdif with douk ddc and the glowing blue device is the comet pulsar (you really need this if u get the comet, its for using a bt remote controller, the other one is shit)

Below the tables and in the drawers a bunch of headphones, accesories and goodies

I do like the way you found space to display your gear as objects in themselves. Very nicely done.

Not my setup but this is a nice listening room at the place I work. Also unfortunately not my department so I dont get to use it, not that theres time to use it during work anyway.

Where do you work? Who does get to use it?

I work at the banff centre in the technical department. This listening room is in the arts department for artists spending time and recording in the facilities. I still get to work around some cool high end gear though, just more so on the production and conference side of things.

For sure, that’s got to be one of the coolest commercial setups I’ve seen! :+1:

Dear all,

as we do also have a new forum in Germany for real audio enthusiasts and very well-known DIY’er , as well speaker/amp engineers ( Snake Oil Audio DE Forum) . The idea we spoke some time ago, got some attention here as well: Hifi Couchsurfing and people loved the idea!

I tried to setup something simple & data privacy compliant 1st-DRAFT… Would love your feedback!
Some people have started to add there systems here.

Platform I’ve added here: https://hificouch.world/
Open Community of course!

If someone is interested to support here, let me know…more than happy to get support from real web designers/CSS/JS experts  Current architecture: hifiworld_architecture.png (1142×761) (hificouch.world)

What do you all think about my new set up? I need some isolation products with my new set up?

Perhaps some other tweaks, suggestions are welcome.

I got a shave in today, cleaned it all up :joy:

A few more wouldn’t be so bad, could get them bedazzled to identify them, :gem::gem::gem:

Why bother? Did you forget the Focal Utopia by Tournaire exists?

I completely forgot about that version, thanks for bringing up that one! I don’t recall seeing any used, was it a one off or actual limited run?
