Lately I have been listening to this a lot more than I would like to admit:
The whole album is AOTY material for me but this song is just something else.
Did not give this a listen until tonight, and while I was jammin out watching the two vids you posted I was reading their bio in roon - I’ll be checking into them more. Thanks for the share!
Been on a Rachmaninov Piano Concerto 3 kick lately. Nice to have a visual
once in a while. Yuja is amazing, as always!

I’ve been quite pleasantly surprised by the new Taylor Swift album, good listen.

Missed a show of this band recently, they swung by my area. Pretty bummed, would have loved to see them live.
Love me some Petit Biscuit.

Another year, another banger Seiko Oomori album. I’m still taking my time listening to the record but this music video dropped yesterday for the launch and features track 1 Vaidoku and it is absolute madness. I love how out there and insane she is both visually and sound wise, her lyrics are fucking spectacular, so unique and what a message. The melodies just kind of happen with Seiko songs and it feels so right.
Fun album.
Currently listening to the new 2022 mix of The Beatles - Revolver that got released today. It’s amazing what technology can do to an old recording. Color me impressed!
I was listening earlier. It’s one of those things where it’s much cleaner, but seems off. I think it’s because we’re used to the older masters and mono mixes.
Memory bias aside (what I’m gonna call it), I’m enjoying it as well. ![]()
It’s certainly strange at first, but by the end of Volume 1 you get used to it and appreciate how much new detail you can hear.
I definitely recommend the instrumental string version of Eleanor Rigby (Track 8 on Volume 3). It’s such a great composition.
On my way soon to hear our area symphony, which I played in for 20 years.
A premiere of a piano concerto and Mahler’s 5th Symphony. ![]()
