I was re-listening to some Hail Mary Mallon (Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic duo) last night, and I had one of those fun audiophile moments where Grubstake sounds very noticeably different than I’m used to because of how much the vocal echo gets lost on lower-tier gear.

I’m spending entirely too much time listening to this album. It reminds me of when the Santana Supernatural album came out back in 2000 - clearly an album designed for radio play, and I don’t care at all - turn it up!
An album that seems to be overlooked “East of the Sun, West of the Moon”
I find it a very pleasurable listen, this is the 2nd track, one of my favorites.
Camp Hollywood, a local swing dance convention typically held every Labor Day weekend, was cancelled for the second year in a row.
