Luxury & Precision P6 / P6 Pro

Yes I think you need to change a setting first though. It sounds much better with local files over being a DAC but ymmv

You can also get a 4.4 to XLR or RCA to connect to an amp. I have used mine as a server/DAC combo at my PC at times.

Yes, the UI sucks. No convincing anyone otherwise, but you get used to it. Eventfully and hopefully, you will find that the sound quality is so good that it is worth the annoying UI. I just use mine as playlist or a huge shuffle list and set and forget.

Has anyone here tried the P6 Pro with the 2022 Utopia

Anybody have experience with the Luxury & Precision E7? I am currently in the market for a new DAP. It goes against everything I’m looking for in a DAP (headphone user and like using streaming services), but LP DAP always peeks my curiosity. I have an offline library, so I am not too worry on streaming as long the Bluetooth streaming is not too much of an inconvenience.

I currently have some store credit and unfortunately that store doesn’t have the iBasso DX320 MAX TI I wanted. My choices are LP E7, Hiby RS8, and AK SP3000. My prefer portable headphone choice is the ATH-W10VTG, Sony MA900, and HarmonicDyne Eris (I am also open in getting some iems down the line for something more technical). I prefer a smooth sounding source, but I don’t mind switching things up and getting something technically clean.

I preferred the RS8 to the P6 Pro, especially when full size headphones were considered. The SP3000T was great as well when tested at Canjam.

Did you get to hear the SE300?

I’m curious about that one being that it’s an in-house R2R design.
